The Brunello di Montalcino DOCG of Musico is a wine of extraordinary historical depth — produced by the Martini family, one of the oldest in the city of Montalcino, on an estate that has practised biodynamic winemaking since 1700. This is not a marketing claim but a documented reality of agricultural history: the Martini family's relationship with the Montalcino land extends back generations, and their biodynamic approach to viticulture predates by centuries the formal codification of biodynamic farming as a named agricultural practice.

The estate was consolidated into vineyards around 1980 by the entrepreneur Giovanni Martini, who converted the family's properties and revived the passion and love for the land that he then handed to his son Guido Martini — a wealth of experience accumulated across generations, giving life to traditional products deeply linked to the land. The biodynamic philosophy — which governs all aspects of agricultural practice from soil management to planting cycles according to natural rhythms — ensures that the Sangiovese Grosso expresses its territory with a purity and specificity that conventional farming cannot replicate.

The Brunello produced from this estate is described as balanced and intense, of deep taste, fragrant and fruity — qualities that reflect both the character of the grape in Montalcino's specific conditions and the particular expression that biodynamic cultivation over centuries has shaped. The colour is vivid ruby with garnet reflection; the smell alternates hints of plum and ripe cherry, cinnamon, vanilla, and face powder, closing with a touch of rhubarb and cinchona.

Excellent freshness and elegant structure characterise the wine throughout — its fine tannins offering a balanced and pleasant sip with a fruity and mineral finish. This is Brunello made from a position of historical confidence — a wine that knows what it is, where it comes from, and what it owes to those who made it possible.
