The Prosecco DOC Treviso Spumante Brut of Masot is a 100% Glera wine of 11.5% alcohol and zero residual sugar, produced through cold maceration and fermentation in steel followed by one month in autoclave. The De Ros brothers bring the finest academic records from the Cerletti School of Oenology — one of Italy's most prestigious wine academic institutions — combined with Grandfather Arturo's precious knowledge of the Cansiglio territory.
The biodynamic, organic, and sustainable winemaking approach is not a marketing choice but the natural expression of a philosophy encompassing the full agricultural and ecological system of the estate. The Cansiglio Pre-Alps, north of Conegliano, provide a cooler and higher-altitude growing environment than the standard Prosecco zone — conditions producing a Glera of greater acidity, greater mineral character, and a distinct freshness that differentiates the Masot wines.
Paglierino with greenish highlights; delicate carbonation; acacia, pear and apple, sweet citrus. Agile and fresh — the two qualities the De Ros brothers identify as defining this wine, and that the Cansiglio altitude and biodynamic farming reliably deliver. Available through UniqueWines.
