The Prosecco DOC Treviso Spumante Brut Millesimato of Masot is the vintage expression of the estate Brut — 100% Glera carrying the specific character of a single harvest year from the biodynamic Cansiglio Pre-Alps vineyards. The production involves four months in steel fermentation and forty days in autoclave, producing a wine of slightly greater complexity than the non-vintage expression. Four months on fine lees develops autolytic dimension; forty days in autoclave refines the effervescence.
The bright greenish colour with dense and continuous carbonation announces a wine of genuine freshness and mineral precision. Peach, white melon, apple, and citrus on the nose — a more complex aromatic profile than the non-vintage Brut, reflecting extended steel contact and the specific harvest character. Savoury, typical of the marls — the specific contribution of the Cansiglio Pre-Alps marl soils to the wine's mineral dimension. Rich.
The biodynamic philosophy of the De Ros brothers extends to the Millesimato with the same rigour: no synthetic inputs, respect for natural cycles, and the combination of Grandfather Arturo's territorial knowledge with the Cerletti School academic formation. Available through UniqueWines.
