Agnobianco is the still white wine of the Masari estate — a blend of Riesling and Durella that combines one of the world's great international white varieties with the Agno Valley's most characterful indigenous grape in a composition of genuine aromatic sophistication. The name is a poetic compression: Agno, for the valley whose volcanic and limestone soils shape the wine's mineral character, and Bianco, white — the Agno Valley in its white wine expression.

The Riesling contributes the variety's characteristic aromatic complexity — the particular combination of citrus, stone fruit, and the mineral-petrol note that marks great Riesling wherever it is grown — along with the firm acidity and the structural precision that make it one of the world's most age-worthy white wine varieties. In the Agno Valley's cool, well-ventilated conditions, sheltered by the Piccole Dolomiti to the north, Riesling develops a character of alpine freshness and mineral precision that the variety achieves in its most compelling expressions.

The Durella brings to the blend the indigenous Venetian dimension — the particular minerality and aromatic freshness of a grape that has spent centuries adapting to the specific volcanic and limestone soils of these Veneto hills. Its contribution of freshness and savouriness pleasantly surprises on the palate — a quality that the Riesling's more internationally recognised aromatics might obscure if the Durella's proportion were not carefully calibrated.

The blend expresses floral and citrus notes combined with fascinating aromas of aromatic herbs — a profile of genuine complexity and genuine specificity. Mineral, fragrant, and engaging from first nose to lingering finish.
