The vineyards of Setteanime run through the alluvial lands of the Venice area — unique in their nature. The stony soil, composed of half loam and sand, is dry and highly draining — perfect for creating white wines of excellent aroma and grade of salinity. The red vines grow a short distance away, where the soil becomes more compacted and clayey, producing full-bodied and structured wines that speak of strong ties and the dedicated effort necessary to grow them.

Nestled between the lagoon of Venice and the sweet hills of Treviso, this land tells the story of each of its people. The unique aroma of the land is like a gift whose intensity is revealed in every single bunch of grapes — a poetic framing that reflects a genuine belief that place expresses itself in wine more directly than technique ever can.

RABOSO DEL PIAVE DOC is the jewel on the king's crown — the estate's most intense red wine, the grave and deep tone in the choir of their wines. Processed using the traditional method and then aged for forty-eight months, at least thirty-six of which in oak barrels and a minimum of twelve in bottle, the Raboso achieves besides the Controlled Designation of Origin a perfect level of maturation. Emerging from its firm and sapid aroma like black velvet, once its shadowy and indomitable character is understood, Raboso knows how to win one's love like no one else. An ancient variety of the Piave area, deep and characterful.

PROSECCO is the estate's sparkling wine — made with care and dedication in order to guarantee traceability and superior quality. The Brut version is dedicated to those who love its fresh, dry, and slightly fruity taste.

PINOT GRIGIO has adapted well to production in the north-east territories of Italy, varying its characteristics according to latitude. A rather complex vine requiring particular care in cultivation and vinification at controlled temperature of 18 degrees Celsius. Sweet, full-flavoured nature with natural soft and balanced taste.

REFOSCO DAL PEDUCOLO ROSSO is native to Friuli — a strong Italian variety with a lineage tracing to ancient origins, named for the dark colour of the grapes and the particular purple shade of its pedicel. Not an easy vine to harvest; its magical balance between structured refinement and delicate style has made it well known and appreciated far beyond Veneto's borders. Available through UniqueWines.
