River-fed mineral land; vineyards immersed in hazelnut-growing territory

The Irpino Vallo Lauro is a territory rich in vegetation, minerals, and the constant presence of a river that feeds the land without interruption. It is in this landscape that the Nappi family conceived Petra Marzia — a project dedicated to enhancing the territory's agricultural and oenological vocation, producing wines of full colour and flavour through an indigenous method of processing that combines refining techniques with full respect for the nature of the vine and the conditions in which it grows.

The estate achieves biologically remarkable results, recognised with international scores of excellence, in a context that is as unusual as it is productive: the vineyards are immersed in a larger territory historically dedicated to hazelnut cultivation, creating a special symbiosis between vine and surrounding agricultural ecosystem. From this symbiosis emerge varieties of particular character — among them Asprinio d'Aversa and Aglianico, which together give shape to Taurasi.

PETRA MARZIA — the estate's signature wine — is a blend of Casavecchia 70%, Aglianico 20%, and Merlot 10%. The first of the estate's organic productions, it embodies the characteristics of its land: body and minerality. After twelve months in French oak casks, it continues its slow but inexorable ageing in bottle. The taste is velvety and soft; at 13.5% it pairs perfectly with first courses and dishes based on sauces and red meats, as well as aged cheeses.

FIANO DI AVELLINO DOCG is produced from the Fiano grape — known in antiquity as Vitis Apiana — in pale straw yellow colour, characterised by the elegance of broom-flower scents and the pleasant taste given by the unmistakable smell of roasted hazelnuts. An excellent wine for oysters and fish dishes generally.

MARCIA NUS is the estate's Asprinio d'Aversa sparkling wine, produced following the Charmat method lungo. Straw yellow and transparent, with an intense and persistent aroma of hazelnut, distinct herbaceous and citrus hints, and an acid impact on the palate mixed with non-intrusive bubbles characterised by a high concentration of mineral salts. Delicate and balanced in body.

PARLAMI is the estate's Taurasi DOCG Reserve — obtained from Aglianico after three years of ageing, one of which in oak barrels. Red with orange reflections, with an intense bouquet of marasca cherry and violet flower with hints of spices and underbrush. Full-bodied, with a slight tannic flavour, suited to large dishes of roast meat, spicy cheese, and cold cuts. One of Campania's most prestigious denominations in its most territorial expression.
