Request a quoteThe constant climate, the air current between the walls and the projected concrete wall, the force of gravity that contributes to the processing of the vines and the storage of wines within the walls of the farm — dating back seven hundred years and connected to the new winery — are just some of the peculiarities of the Nicolussi-Leck wine estate. An excellent glass of wine is born from the interaction between the climate, nature, and the estate's zealous commitment.
Seven centuries of agricultural presence on the same site is a rarity in any wine region of the world. In Alto Adige, where winemaking tradition is itself ancient and deeply rooted, the Nicolussi-Leck estate represents an uncommon depth of territorial connection — a farm whose walls have witnessed seven centuries of viticulture and whose current winery is integrated with those same walls, creating a dialogue between ancient stone and modern production.
GEORG is the estate's Kalterersee — fruity on the nose with intense aromas of cherry and violet. Soft and elegant tannins provide a pleasant experience. The Kalterersee — a wine specific to the Lake Caldaro zone — is produced from Schiava varieties: light, fresh, and deeply regional in character.
SEPP is the estate's Merlot Riserva — featuring fruity aromas of ripe berries (blackberry and currant) and a refined spice donated by Cabernet Franc. The combination of Merlot's generous fruit with the aromatic complexity of Cabernet Franc produces a Riserva of genuine sophistication.
ALEXANDER is the estate's Lagrein — one of Alto Adige's most distinctive indigenous varieties, offering aromas of berries and spices with elegant tannins and refined acidity for a pleasant and persistent experience.
CABERNET FRANC RISERVA GEORG is the estate's most ambitious red — grown 400 metres below the ruins of Castelchiaro, offering aromas of ripe berries and enveloping spices. The association of this wine with the ancient ruins visible above the vineyard is an evocative reminder that in Alto Adige, history and viticulture are inseparable.
