The De Ros brothers — biodynamic graduates of the Cerletti School of Oenology — produce five sparkling wines from indigenous Cansiglio grapes in honour of Grandfather Arturo's knowledge: a Brut, a Brut Millesimato, an Extra Dry Millesimato, a Col Fondo ancestrale, and a Rosé Extra Brut from Manzoni and Moscato. Fresh, rigorous, and deeply considered. Biodynamic. Cerletti School. Grandfather Arturo. Available through UniqueWines.
Request a quoteAn extremely careful selection of indigenous grapes from Cansiglio in the Trevisan Pre-Alps, north of Conegliano, connects the rhythm of the land with Grandfather Arturo and his precious knowledge — generating a selection of wines of sparkling personality. Fresh and invigorating signatures from the Martinotti Method of production populate the Masot canteen with Brut and Extra Dry typologies designed by the De Ros brothers: a name renowned for constant experimentation and the finest academic records from the Cerletti School of Oenology, across Biodynamic Agriculture, Organic, and Sustainable Winemaking.
The De Ros brothers bring to their winemaking a level of academic and practical sophistication that is unusual in sparkling wine production — combining the inherited knowledge of Grandfather Arturo with the most current understanding of biodynamic viticulture and sustainable winemaking. The Cansiglio territory, in the Trevisan Pre-Alps north of Conegliano, provides a cooler, higher-altitude expression of Glera than the standard Prosecco zone delivers.
PROSECCO DOC TREVISO SPUMANTE BRUT is the estate's primary Glera 100% expression — at 11.5% alcohol and zero residual sugar, cold macerated and fermented in steel, then one month in autoclave. Paglierino with greenish highlights, delicate carbonation; acacia, fruity notes of pear and apple, sweet citrus. Agile and fresh.
PROSECCO DOC TREVISO SPUMANTE BRUT MILLESIMATO is the vintage expression of the same Glera — four months in steel followed by forty days in autoclave. Bright greenish colour, dense and continuous carbonation; peach, white melon, apple, and citrus. Savoury, typical of the marls. Rich.
SPUMANTE EXTRA DRY MILLESIMATO is the Glera at 16 grams per litre residual sugar — paglierino with a high and creamy crown, resistant perlage; sugared almonds and candy floss, golden apple and pear purée. Fresh and measured sip.
The COL FONDO ANCESTRALE is Glera at zero residual sugar, unfiltered, with bottle refermentation — eight months before drinking. Fine perlage; floral and green apple notes; generous, with savoury and citrus notes.
COLLI TREVIGIANI IGT SPUMANTE ROSÉ EXTRA BRUT is the estate's most creative expression — from Manzoni and Moscato, with salmon-coloured bubbles of fine and persistent perlage. Sweet confetti, delicious woodland strawberries and dog rose in the mouth. Fresh and savoury, with clear pomegranate and grapefruit. Available through UniqueWines.
