Here in Montalcino you will find one of the most renowned Brunello productions of all time — a small vineyard, large oak barrels, a long tradition, a pinch of madness, and a great deal of passion. The Corte dei Venti estate produces and ages all wine in its own cellar, where Brunello's ageing lasts thirty-six months in twenty to twenty-five hectolitre Slavonian oak barrels and at least eight months in the bottle, while the reserve wine lasts up to forty-eight months in the barrel followed by twelve months in the bottle.

The Brunello di Montalcino DOCG from Corte dei Venti is a wine of exceptional intensity of flavour — the fullness and roundness in the mouth in balance with freshness and structure. Refined for thirty-six months in the large Slavonian oak barrels that are among the most distinctive features of traditional Montalcino winemaking, it receives at least eight months further in bottle before release. A wine of classical Brunello architecture, built for long cellaring and rewarding patience generously.

The BRUNELLO DI MONTALCINO DOCG RISERVA is the estate's most ambitious production — a wine with a great balance between acidity and mellowness with an extraordinary tannin structure. Refined for forty-two to forty-eight months in the same Slavonian oak barrels and six to twelve months in bottle, it is a wine for the most important occasions and the most patient collectors.

LE TERRE ROSSE IGT is the estate's more accessible Sangiovese expression — a blend of Sangiovese Grosso 60%, Syrah 30%, and Merlot in smaller doses, refined eighteen months in steel and four months in glass minimum. Round, warm, with good acidity and long persistence of taste.

ROSSO DI MONTALCINO DOC is the estate's most immediately approachable wine — a blend of Sangiovese Grosso 60%, Merlot 20%, Cabernet Sauvignon 10%, and Syrah 10%, refined twelve months in oak tonneaux or barriques and at least four months in the bottle. Round and warm, full of aromas, very inviting and pleasant.

SANT'ANTIMO DOC completes the range as the estate's broadest red blend. The Corte dei Venti portfolio represents the full range of Montalcino's extraordinary capacity — from the most serious Brunello Riserva to the accessible Rosso — all produced with the traditional precision and large-barrel philosophy that this appellation demands. Available through UniqueWines.
