Since its very beginnings, Almivisi has continuously been engaged in selecting both land and vines with the highest richness — ideal to produce the best grapes in the terroir of Eastern Venice. The goal is direct and undisputed control over the whole winemaking process, from any phase of work in the vineyard to multiple techniques in the cellar, ageing, and refinement in barriques and tonneaux. The result is an unmatched quality and taste — and most importantly, an amazing purity in all products, far from any contamination.
Almivisi uses the very lowest amount of sulphites, in complete harmony with the natural environment. Their terroir is the Tre Venezie — a territory noted in the catalogue for its similarity to Bordeaux: very close to the sea, surrounded by two great rivers, on the imaginary line of the 45th parallel (halfway between northern cold and equatorial heat), considered ideal latitude for the world's great wines.
QORTE is the estate's white — from Chardonnay 75%, Tai 15%, and Sauvignon 5% — a blend where Chardonnay provides the sweet, fragrant fruit suitable for barrique ageing, while Tai contributes extra creaminess and savouriness, and Sauvignon enriches the aromatic notes.
QUSTO is the estate's great red — a blend of Merlot 50%, Cabernet Franc 30%, and Cabernet Sauvignon 20%: the classic Bordeaux blend applied to a territory the estate argues is geologically and climatically comparable. From its position on the 45th parallel, this wine has the structure, depth, and ageing potential of a serious international red.
PUNTO ROSSO is the estate's Cabernet Franc in purity — a wine with a unique and recognisable identity, dictated by its superb aromatic makeup that gives it a sumptuous balance of taste. SODALIZIO is the marriage of Merlot's softness and elegance with the native freshness and vivacity of Raboso — a blend of seemingly opposite natures that produces something unique, with an original flavour encompassing ancient tastes.
The estate also produces a PROSECCO Spumante Brut following the Charmat method from Glera grapes, a METODO CLASSICO, and a still PROSECCO frizzante from the Glera family — wines of celebration produced with the same attention to purity and minimal intervention that characterises the estate's fine wine range.
